A set product, or the product set, $A \times B$ of two sets $A$ and $B$, is the set of ordered pairs $\{(a,b): a \in A, b \in B\}$.

For example, if $A = \{1, 2\}$ and $B = \{x, y\}$, then $A \times B = \{(1,x),(2,x),(1,y),(2,y)\}$.
